Peruvian Gold Rush Classic

On June 25, 26, 27, 10 the Gold Rush Peruvian Horse Classic was held at the South Point, and I was there to bring you all the sights.

This year was the Tenth Anniversary, and there were approximately one hundred and eleven horses in attendance.  It was a great show, and every year it gets better.  The horses and their people are friendly and glad to share stories and information.

Peruvian Horses are also known as Peruvian Pasos.  These horses originally came to South America in 1531. Peruvian Horses are known for their good temperament and comfortable ride. The Peruvian Paso is referred to as the National Horse of Peru.

Thank you to everyone who made the Gold Rush Classic possible, the South Point, and to the horses and their riders.  Come with me to see some beautiful horses and meet some wonderful people.
