PBR Round 4 - Austin Meier and Perfect Poison

PBR Round 4 - Austin Meier and Perfect Poison

Not sure what to expected from the bulls in Round 4… PBR livestock director Cody Lambert had this to say “I thought it would be really cool to see the future and the history of the PBR at the same time.”

Here is what Cody was referring to.  Tonight’s bulls include the twenty top Classic Bulls, and twenty veteran bulls… a nice balance of young bulls and the best bulls.  Veteran bulls are those bulls that in the past few years have proven themselves.  Two of these bulls, Zorro and Splat Kat, will buck for the last time before heading to greener pastures and a life of retirement.  Cody had this to say about Zorro and Splat Kat… “Those two old-timers will be there and they’re just as good as the young guys are, but it’s the end of their career, and I want to honor them with a little recognition for being as good as they have for as many years as they have.”

Kody Lostroh from Longmont, CO, rode Mission Accomplished for 90.25 points to win Round 4.  Kody had this to say about Mission Accomplished, “Dustin (Elliott) rode that bull last weekend and we joked that we should just switch bulls for a round this weekend.  I got lucky and drew him,” In respect to his standings at the PBR World Finals, Kody has this to say “It feels great to be in my position because I’ve been at the bottom before and now I’m at the top.  Doing what I’m doing right now is what I was made for.”

This was another great night at the PBR World Finals; a few surprises, and a packed house.  As of tonight, only three riders have ridden all four bulls.  Join me as I bring you rides and unforgettable moments from Round 4 at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas.
