PBR Round 3 - Robson Palermo and Black Pearl

PBR Round 3 - Robson Palermo and Black Pearl

Not sure what to expected from the bulls in Round 3… PBR livestock director Cody Lambert this to say about the nightly draft for the next night’s bulls, “that’s what this draft and this sport is about. It’s about stepping up and taking the challenge.”  Cody also said “Some of these guys were wanting me to pick their bulls for them and I really didn’t know these bulls as well as I knew the rest of them, because these aren’t bulls that I picked to come to the World Finals. These are bulls that qualified through the ABBI.”

The bulls and the bull riders put on another great performance… The bulls chosen for tonight are the top ABBI Classic bulls, bulls that may not be as well known as the other bulls chosen for the Finals.  These bulls are three and four years old, and can be considered the ‘future superstars,’ of the PBR. Ty Murray, PBR President and ‘King of the Cowboys,’ was spotted pulling ropes for Rocky McDonald.  After three nights of bull riding; only four riders have ridden all three of their bulls.

Robson Palermo of Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil, won the third round with a 92.25 point ride on Black Pearl.  Robson made this comment about Black Pearl, “He’s a really rank bull who is quick.”

This was not the night to miss at the PBR World Finals; these ‘future superstars,’ had a few surprises and that meant only seventeen riders rode tonight.   Join me as I bring you rides and unforgettable moments from Round 3 at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas.
